Bradie's Babies!

Although I thought it would be interesting to start a blog, the real reason I did this is so people who are interested can follow the birth of 7 of what i know will be the most AMAZING labradoodle puppies EVER!  I have been e-mailing a group of you for a couple of weeks now keeping you posted on Bradie's progress and the birth of the puppies... and then I realized that alot of you probably do not care...so for those of you who do, this is where you need to go for daily/weekly updates (and obviously a TON of pictures).
 Bradie Kona

This is what happened when Bradie went to Kona's house to play...

Bradie starting having her puppies Tuesday, September 29 at 4:45 p.m. in the company of not only my parents but the cable man as well...All reports say she has been a wonderful mother, letting anyone pick up the puppies and even letting Daisy (our yellow lab) get in close.   I was anxiously awaiting every phone call to hear that yet another puppy had been born.  The commentary on the other end of the line was priceless and even resulted in a few puppy names.
Greedy "Gus" the first born does nothing but eat, eat, eat and then... maybe sleep.
The second puppy born was thought to be premature by my knowledgable mother who thought she had no hair... just to discover she was a white puppy "Nugget".
We had one boy puppy - after asking repeatedly if the pups were male or female my mother finally calls me this morning with this statement " I only count ONE penis"...out of the mouth of babes, Thanks Mom! This turned into "OP" (pronounced o-pee).
And the last puppy to enter the world has been moving in slow mo from the begenning..."Moe".
I know they are all boy names but there are 6 girls and then our little "OP".  I welcome any and all suggestions on names for the remaining 3 puppies!! More updates will follow.

Welcome!!

Thank you Kasie! My inspiration for starting a blog came when my good friend Kasie Wilson Boon started blogging to keep all of her friends in Texas up-to-date on Baby Boon...now formally known as Lily! (if you would like to keep up with her blog it is meettheboons.blogspot.com)

I did not know that starting a blog would be so intimidating - I mean right off the bat they are asking what you want your blog to be called...I sat there thinking "will they think I am stupid", "will anyone care to read it?", "what if I misspell something??"...the stress set in. Then I decided to try and come up with a name that reflected me, that's when Brooks Babbles was born. For those of you who do not know the definition of babbles here it is (compliments of Merriam Webster)
Babbles
Function: verb
Etymology: Middle English babelen of imitative origin
Date: 13th Century
Intransitive verb: to talk enthusiastically or excessively
Transitive verb: to reveal by talk that is to freely
This last definition really hit home, I thought those of you who knew me well would appreciate this and fully understand why I chose BrooksBabbles as the name of my blog. I hope you all enjoy!
